The three-day Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics & Accessories Fair concluded successfully on August 29, 2024.
Once again, the fair reaffirmed its status as one of the world’s most important sourcing platforms for apparel fabrics and accessories, while serving as a key pillar for the industry to address structural changes and new challenges. Nearly 4,000 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions focused on functionality, sustainability, and digitalization, showcasing products and solutions that will define the upcoming season’s fashion.
A multitude of high-quality exhibitors gathered at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), engaging in in-depth exchanges with over 100,000 professional visitors from 115 countries and regions (2023: 95,000). The number of international buyers at this year’s fair increased by 29%, marking a continuous growth following the doubling of overseas visitors at the spring edition.
Additionally, the number of visitors who attended the fair for two or more consecutive days rose by 15%, reflecting the event’s significance to industry professionals. Beyond sourcing for the 2025–26 Autumn/Winter season, visitors were able to establish business connections, explore the latest market trends, digital innovations, and market insights through a rich lineup of concurrent activities.
