The deadline was tight. And they had already sent us all the files we needed.<\/p><p>Or so I thought.<\/p><p>I opened the artwork.<\/p><p>And suddenly, \u201cASAP\u201d became a lot more complicated.<\/p><p>The logo was there. The design was there. But the information needed for production wasn&#8217;t.<\/p><p>No final size. Some colors had no Pantone references. A few details were difficult to distinguish. The artwork showed what the customer wanted to see, but not always what the factory needed to produce.<\/p><p>So I started asking questions.<\/p><p>What is the final size?<br>Which color should we follow?<br>Is this part supposed to be raised?<br>What material or technique should we use?<\/p><p>One question became three. Three became ten.<\/p><p>And the project that was supposed to be \u201cASAP\u201d suddenly needed another round of communication.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"484\" height=\"527\" src=\"https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-34737\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-1.webp 484w, https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-1-11x12.webp 11w, https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-1-64x70.webp 64w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/figure><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Good Artwork Is More Than a Design<\/h2><p>For a designer, an artwork may simply show how the finished product should look.<\/p><p>For a supplier, it needs to communicate <strong>how the product should be made<\/strong>.<\/p><p>That means key information should be clear:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Final dimensions<\/li>\n\n<li>Color references, preferably Pantone<\/li>\n\n<li>Material or production technique<\/li>\n\n<li>Construction and finishing details<\/li>\n\n<li>Special effects or requirements<\/li><\/ul><p>A beautiful artwork is not necessarily a production-ready artwork.<\/p><p>A high-resolution JPG is not necessarily a clear artwork.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Every Unclear Detail Creates an Assumption<\/h2><p>A customer might say:<\/p><blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe want a 3D effect.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><p>But does that mean raised embroidery, silicone, TPU, or embossing?<\/p><p>These are completely different production processes.<\/p><p>The same applies to color. \u201cRed\u201d is not a production specification.<\/p><p>The clearer the information, the fewer assumptions the supplier has to make.<\/p><p>And fewer assumptions mean fewer revisions, fewer mistakes, and less time spent going back and forth.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clear Artwork Makes the Whole Process Faster<\/h2><p>The impact goes far beyond sampling:<\/p><p><strong>Clear artwork \u2192 Faster quotation \u2192 Fewer questions \u2192 More accurate sample \u2192 Faster approval \u2192 Smoother production<\/strong><\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-2.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-34738\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-2.webp 800w, https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-2-768x576.webp 768w, https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-2-16x12.webp 16w, https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-2-600x450.webp 600w, https:\/\/qinghanlabel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ASPS-2-64x48.webp 64w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure><p>An experienced supplier should also take responsibility.
